It helps identify configuration issues early and prevents errors impacting pricing, promotions, and customer experience on the storefront.

• Skipping validation can lead to incorrect pricing on the storefront

• Overlapping campaigns may create unexpected discounts
  Always check for active promotions running at the same time
• Incorrect targeting can block users or expose offers unintentionally
  Always verify customer group selection
• Missing assignments will prevent the campaign from triggering
  Coupon and promotion must both be linked
• Untested campaigns may fail at checkout
  Always validate using real cart scenarios before launch

1. Validate Campaign Status

• Ensure the campaign is Enabled
• Verify Start Date and End Date

2. Validate Coupon Configuration

• Coupon is Enabled
• Correct coupon code is defined
• Case sensitivity matches communication
• Redemption rules allow expected usage

3. Validate Promotion Setup

• Promotion is Enabled
• Correct promotion class is selected (Product, Order, Shipping)
• Discount value is correct
• Conditions and qualifiers are properly defined

4. Validate Product Assignment

• Correct SKUs are included in the promotion
• No unintended products are affected

5. Validate Campaign Assignments

• Coupon is assigned to the campaign
• Promotion is assigned in the Experiences section
• Required Qualifiers is set to ALL

6. Validate Customer Targeting

• Correct customer group is selected (Everyone, Registered, Unregistered)

7. Test in Cart

• Add eligible product(s) to cart
• Apply coupon (if required)
• Verify discount is applied correctly
• Test edge cases (multiple quantities, different products)

8. Final Review Before Activation

• Check for overlapping campaigns
• Confirm no unintended promotion stacking
• Ensure alignment with launch timing
