This procedure explains how to install and configure the Demandware with Ease Chrome extension.

This tool allows quick access to Salesforce Commerce Cloud environments and simplifies switching between staging and production.

• Do not confuse Sandbox Name and Domain
  Both must be configured correctly for the environment to work
• “Keep BM session” must be enabled
  If disabled, you will be logged out every time you switch environments
• Never perform tests in Production
  Always use Staging first
• Always verify the selected environment before making changes
  Production changes are immediately visible to customers
• Incorrect domain entry will block access
• Double-check spelling and format

1. Install the Extension

Go to the Chrome Web Store:

Demandware with Ease

Click Add to Chrome.

2. Open the Extension

Click on the Extensions icon in Chrome.

Select Demandware with Ease.

3. Add a New Environment

Click on the + icon to create a new environment.

4. Configure the Staging Environment

• Sandbox Name: staging-eu01-teoxane.demandware.net
• Domain: staging-eu01-teoxane.demandware.net
• Keep BM session: ✔ (must be enabled)

Click Save.

5. Configure the Production Environment

• Sandbox Name: production-eu01-teoxane.demandware.net
• Domain: production-eu01-teoxane.demandware.net
• Keep BM session: ✔ (must be enabled)

Click Save.

6. Access an Environment

Click on the extension icon.

Select either:

• staging-eu01
• production-eu01

👉 You will be redirected to the corresponding Business Manager login page.

7. Log In

• Enter your credentials
• Validate using Salesforce Authenticator

8. Switch Between Environments

Use the extension to move between environments without logging out.

This works only if Keep BM session is enabled.

Procedure Notes

• The Sandbox Name is the label you will see in the extension
• The Domain must be exact, otherwise access will fail
• Enabling Keep BM session allows seamless switching between environments
• Staging is used for testing, Production is live
