The Article Recommendations Component was designed to display recommendation pushes inviting visitors to discover pages that complement the content they are currently viewing.

The resulting recommendations appear as content cards that direct visitors toward additional pages.

The component includes configuration options intended to influence the recommendations displayed.

However, this component should not be used.

Important Recommendation

Do not use the Article Recommendations Component.

Its outcome is unpredictable, meaning administrators cannot reliably control which complementary content will ultimately be recommended.

Why Article Recommendations Exist

Article recommendations are intended to extend the visitor's journey beyond the current page.

The issue is specifically with the way the Article Recommendations Component determines what to display.

6. Validate the Selected Recommendations

Once Article Recommendations Manual has been configured, validate the page on the appropriate staging storefront.

Confirm that the recommendation section promotes the intended complementary content and supports the visitor journey from the current page.
