This procedure explains how to create a campaign where a discount is applied only when multiple specific products (or groups of products) are purchased together.

This type of promotion is used to:

• drive bundling behavior
• increase average basket value
• promote complementary products

• Using ADD Include will break the logic
  It will convert AND into OR and make the promotion too easy to trigger
• Incorrect qualifiers may make the promotion impossible to trigger
  Always test combinations
• Discount scope must be controlled
  Using Catalog instead of ID may apply discount too broadly
• Promotions may stack if not controlled
  Always review exclusivity
• Complex bundles increase risk of configuration errors
  Validate thoroughly in cart

1. Create the Coupon

Go to: Merchant Tools → Online Marketing → Coupons

• Click New
• Enter a clear ID
• Set Enabled to YES
• Select Single Code
• Create a coupon code

Click Save.

2. Create the Promotion

Go to: Merchant Tools → Online Marketing → Promotions

• Click New
• Enter ID and Name
• Set Enabled to YES

If needed, adjust Exclusivity to prevent stacking.

3. Configure Promotion Rule

• Select Product Promotion
• Select rule: Buy X AND Y get discount

4. Configure Qualifying Products (X AND Y) (Critical)

Click Edit under qualifying products.

Define the required combination using:

• ID → specific SKUs
• Categories → product groups

Use ADD (AND logic):

• Add first product or group
• Click ADD
• Add second product or group

👉 This ensures BOTH conditions must be met.

Examples:

• Product A AND Product B
• Category Skincare AND Category Cleanser

You can also define quantities for each condition if needed.

Important:

• Do NOT use ADD Include here
• ADD Include would turn the logic into OR and break the scenario

Click Save, then Apply.

5. Configure Discounted Products

Click Edit under discounted products.

• Catalog → if all qualifying products receive the discount
• ID → if only specific products should be discounted

Examples:

• Both products get 20% OFF
• Only Product B gets discounted

Click Save, then Apply.

6. Configure Discount

• Select percentage or fixed amount
• Define discount value

7. Save the Promotion

Click Save.

8. Create the Campaign

Go to: Merchant Tools → Online Marketing → Campaigns

• Click New
• Enter ID
• Set Enabled to YES

9. Configure Campaign

• Set Start Date and End Date
• Assign the Coupon

10. Assign Promotion

In the Experiences section:

• Click +
• Select the promotion
• Set Required Qualifiers to ALL

Click Apply.

11. Save and Test

• Add only one product → no discount
• Add both products → discount applies
• Apply coupon
• Verify correct behavior
