This procedure explains how to configure and maintain the Prior Best Price attribute used for storefront price history and Omnibus compliance requirements.

• Prior Best Price is configured manually.
• Prior Best Price is configured product by product.
• Always select the correct site before editing the value.
• Never configure the Prior Best Price for the default option.
• Editing the default option impacts all storefronts globally.
• Removing the value removes the storefront price history display.
• This process supports Omnibus law compliance requirements for Poland.
• The Prior Best Price process is not automated.
• This manual approach was selected because product pricing changes remain relatively limited across the storefront.

Prerequisites

Before starting:

• Confirm which site you are updating
• Prepare the SKU references requiring price history updates
• Verify the storefront currently displays strike-through pricing if applicable

Procedure

1. Access Products

Go to:

Merchant Tools → Products and Catalogs → Products

Search for the product you want to update.

Open the product.

2. Lock the Product

Click “Lock” to enable product editing.

This is required before updating product attributes.

3. Locate the Prior Best Price Attribute

Scroll to the:
Teoxane Attributes section

Locate:
Prior Best Price

4. Select the Correct Site

Before entering any value:

• Verify the selected site
• Make sure you are not editing the default option

Important:
The default option impacts all sites globally.

5. Configure the Prior Best Price

Enter the Prior Best Price value.

Click “Apply” to save the changes.

Once configured:

• The storefront displays the prior best price history information on the PDP

6. Maintain Price History

The Prior Best Price field is maintained manually.

If the price history should no longer appear:

• Open the product again
• Remove the value from the Prior Best Price field
• Click “Apply”
